200,000 ppe units successfully delivered

DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ARDENCRAFT WORKED HARD TO CREATE A SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN TO THE UK FOR SAFE AND RELIABLE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO BE USED IN CARE HOMES ACROSS THE UK

Our Pledge.

At Ardencraft Technology, we pledged to deliver essential PPE to care homes in need throughout COVID-19, remaining free from additional costs and hidden discrepancies. Unfortunately, due to the increase in demand on PPE across the UK, we identified an increase in profiteering among many businesses during this crucial time and decided to take action. Our promise was to deliver your products and services with complete transparency and provide these products for below the market price.

We succeeded, providing over 200,000 units of essential PPE at cost price to key-workers across the UK in line with key aid organisations such as 'Aidworks UK'.

HOW
HAVE WE
DONE THIS?

By setting up several key relationships with Chinese suppliers who can give certified and regulated supplies to the UK and EU. Masks were coming in at 50p per unit (lower than the £1+ quotes available at the time) and competitively close to the cost of NHS’s procurement. The processes were similar to how we procure and source high-grade microprocessors and sensitive electronic components. We discovered the processes to sanitise PPE within clean rooms are not too dissimilar to the ones used in high quality consumer electronics.
